Mr Lim, the former head of Singapore’s Civil Service and 4th SR Nathan Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies of our Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, delivered a lecture where he explored the circumstances of Singapore’s unexpected independence, and the logic of geography as a key factor for Singapore’s viability.
