Campus as a Living Lab at the National University of Singapore, CALL@NUS, is an innovative platform that offers unique research and translation opportunities, and collaborative learning experiences for students, researchers, and industry partners to co-create novel solutions, technologies, and capabilities.
Our campus is a living lab to test-bed technologies to create innovative learning experiences and environments, which in turn empowers our students to engage in sustainable solution-making.
At CALL@NUS, we are dedicated to creating an immersive environment where academic rigour seamlessly blends with real-world applications, fostering collaboration between researchers and industry partners to translate cutting-edge research into globally scalable, impactful solutions that shape a sustainable future.
CALL@NUS transforms the conventional campus experience into a dynamic living laboratory, integrating the university’s physical systems and infrastructure with the NUS Digital Twin platform to serve as a testbed for cutting-edge technologies. Leveraging the physical and virtual platforms, translational solutions undergo rigorous validation, creating an ecosystem of innovation beyond traditional boundaries.

At CALL@NUS, we understand that successful collaboration is built on a foundation of robust support. We are committed to providing our researchers and collaborators with the resources and assistance they need to ensure their projects thrive.
This project investigates the pairing of tree tokens encoded by L-systems with visual features from tree images using Vision-Language Pretraining (VLP) paradigm to enable single-image tree reconstruction.
This project aims to advance crowd simulation functionality for Digital Twin purposes, through the adaptation of Agent-based crowd simulation up to extreme densities using fluid dynamics.
